1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Interegon LLC ("Interegon", "we", "us", or "our"), a New Jersey limited liability company, collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Interegon service (the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

When you create an account or use the Service, we collect information you submit directly, including:

  • Name, email address, and password (handled by our authentication provider)
  • Organization name and any other information you enter while configuring your workspace
  • Content you create within the Service, including projects, tasks, templates, comments, and uploaded files
  • Communications you send to us (support requests, feedback, etc.)
  • Payment information, if and when paid plans are introduced (handled by our payment processor; Interegon does not store full payment card details)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Service, we automatically collect:

  • Log information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, and timestamps
  • Authentication and session information necessary to keep you signed in
  • Diagnostic information about errors and performance

We do not currently use third-party analytics tools or behavioral tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this Policy and notify users where required by applicable law.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

If you sign in using a third-party identity provider (such as Google), we receive basic profile information from that provider as authorized by you.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts
  • Send transactional communications such as account verification, password resets, team invitations, and notifications about activity within your workspace
  • Respond to support requests and inquiries
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to train artificial intelligence models without your explicit consent.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service, including:

  • Session and authentication cookies that keep you signed in
  • Security cookies that help us detect malicious activity
  • Preference cookies that remember your settings (e.g. selected workspace)

We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

5. Sharing of Information

We share information only as necessary to operate the Service and as described below. We do not sell personal information.

5.1 Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the Service. These currently include:

  • Auth0 (Okta, Inc.) for authentication and identity management
  • Amazon Web Services (Amazon.com, Inc.) for hosting, storage, and email delivery
  • Stripe, Inc. or a similar payment processor, when paid plans are introduced

Each service provider is bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations and may only use information as needed to provide their services.

5.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or security incidents.

5.3 Business Transfers

If Interegon LLC or the Interegon service is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • The right to access the personal information we hold about you
  • The right to request correction of inaccurate information
  • The right to request deletion of your information
  • The right to object to or restrict certain processing
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, additional rights under the GDPR apply. Our legal basis for processing personal information is typically the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, or your consent where required.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act provides specific rights regarding your personal information. We do not sell personal information.

9. International Data Transfers

The Service is hosted in the United States (Amazon Web Services, US East region). If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@interegon.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" above. For material changes, we will provide additional notice such as an in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
